Although portable components are very known today and are widely used by everyone in the world -  from personal convenience to school-related products to home decor and many more! Batteries can be a source of dangerous heat, sparks or fire if they are improperly packaged for shipping. So that the problem sometimes is how dangerous can they be while they are being transported? What hazard can they bring if they are not properly and securely sealed.

Here are some pointers you need to know about lithium restrictions:

FedEx allows shipping a package containing lithium batteries, strong rigid outer packaging must be used and, depending on the type of lithium batteries, additional markings and labelling may also be required. FedEx Paks cannot be used as outer packaging for lithium batteries, however FedEx branded boxes or tubes may be used as outer packaging for lithium batteries.

UPS

For UPS, they strongly encourage shippers to select strong outer packaging; carefully protecting battery terminals to prevent sparking or short circuit; and carefully preparing the interior package components to keep tools or other metal objects away from batteries.

USPS

For USPS, packages that contain lithium or non-lithium ion batteries coming from Germany and Italy will not be accepted. Items that can be shipped include: cameras, video cameras, mobile/smart phones, Bluetooth headsets, laptop computers, shavers, portable DVD players, tablets, two-way radios, GPS devices and most other small electronic devices requiring lithium batteries. In addition, when installed, they may not exceed the quantity or limits defined in the IMM or DMM.
